DUGLAS ALLIANCE LTD. jointly with the representatives of the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea realized the inspection of the factories manufacturing the principal equipment for the Sendje HPP

June 12 to 23, 2016 DUGLAS ALLIANCE LTD. (General contractor of the Sendje HPP construction) jointly with the representatives of the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea (Employer of the Sendje HPP construction) organized and realized the trip to the factories manufacturing the hydropower equipment in order to inspect the state of already manufactured equipment and equipment ready for shipment to the construction site, and to control the manufacturing process of the remaining equipment for the Sendje HPP.

The representatives of the Ministry for Industry and Energy, Ministry for Public Works and Infrastructure, GE-Proyectos, as well as the company of technical supervision on the project execution, represented the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in this trip.

The commission realized the inspection of thirteen factories, situated in Ukraine, Turkey, India, Italy and France during the business trip in very limited period.

During the trip the lifting equipment, hydromechanical equipment (gates, racks), hydraulic drives of the gates, generator equipment (poles, core, shafts), turbine equipment (distributor, shaft, runner), power transformer, regulation system, GIS were inspected.

As a result of the working trip the representatives of the Contractor and the Employer signed a number of bilateral documents with the valuation of the manufactured equipment quality and the technologies of the Sendje HPP equipment manufacture. The parties confirmed the readiness of the major part of ordered equipment for shipment to the construction site and stated the fact of compliance with the equipment manufacture schedule at all factories.

The representatives of the Client were satisfied by the level of organization and works quality of the General contractor, DUGLAS ALLIANCE LTD., as related to the compliance with the contractual obligations on the Sendje HPP principal equipment manufacture.
