On May 28, 2015 the Minister of Mines, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Gabriel Mbaga Obiang Lima, visited the construction site of the HPP Sendje located in the continental part of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea on the river Wele in order to examine the work progress. The representatives of Duglas Alliance Ltd. presented the process workflows of this construction stage, informed on the amount of the work completed and discussed with the Minister the working issues that originate in the process of hydropower plant construction. The Minister and his accompanying persons inspected the construction area and reviewed the detailed design drawings and plans for the nearest time.

Major French engineering company Alstom, a global leader in the world of power generation, power transmission and rail infrastructure, shall execute the supply of hydropower equipment for the project of company DUGLAS ALLIANCE LTD. of the construction of new hydropower plant Sendje, located in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
The opening of the Representative office of the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Ukraine) in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea was announced on September 19 as part of the Business Forum Ukraine – Equatorial Guinea. The office will be headed by the director of the company Duglas Alliance Ltd. Yuriy Potiyko.
On February 20, 2012 Duglas Alliance Ltd. together with the Head of the State of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea – Obiang Nguema Mbasogo laid the corner stone in the foundation of the future Sendje hydroelectric power plant, which is constructed by Duglas Alliance Ltd.
