The delegation headed by the First Deputy Director General of DUGLAS ALLIANCE LTD. participated in the 4th Africa-Arab World Summit which took place in the capital of Equatorial Guinea, Malabo in large conference hall of Sipopo.
The event aims to strengthen and develop the collaboration between the countries of Africa and Arab World as well as attract the investments into the development of the strategically important braches of economy of the African continent, in particular Equatorial Guinea.
One of the main events within the summit was an economic forum held on November 18. During the forum the representatives of DUGLAS ALLIANCE LTD. had a number of meetings with the top officials of Equatorial Guinea, among them the Minister of Industry and Energy, the Minister of Infrastructure, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other. During the meetings the parties discussed the necessity and importance for electrification of the continental part of Equatorial Guinea of such large-scale project as the Sendje HPP construction on Wele river. The state plan of the country’s economy diversification cannot be executed in full without realization of the project as one of the strategic directions of the plan is industrialization of the country and export of the electricity to the neighboring African countries.
