DUGLAS ALLIANCE LTD. across the ocean
26 June to 30 June 2017 the delegation headed by the Director General of DUGLAS ALLIANCE LTD. participated in the most large-scale event dedicated to the hydropower in the Northern and Southern America – HydroVision International held in Denver, the USA.
Huge country – huge market – huge exhibition:
- more than 3000 participants,
- more than 350 companies,
- more than 120 sessions and 400 speakers – experts in hydropower.
A lot of the manufacturers of hydropower and mechanical equipment as well as metal constructions for the hydropower plants participated in the event. Many companies presented their services of hydropower plants operation as well as repair of hydraulic constructions, turbines and gates of HPPs.
USA and Canada pay significant attention to the ecologic aspects of the construction and operation of the hydraulic constructions. This is the reason for a considerable presence on the event of the companies providing services in the area of ecologic audit and design, construction of fish passing facilities and constructions.
The participants of the exhibition, in particular the manufactures of the equipment as well as hydropower services providers, are mainly oriented on the market of the USA, Canada, Latin America. The majority of the companies find rather risky the perspectives of cooperation on the African continent.
And we continue working on this big, complicated but perspective continent.
